Phoenix Phantoms Harrogate District Netball League Division 2

Phantoms had another win this week beating new team Fillies 59-13. The first round of the HDNL winter league is now complete and Phantoms are the still undefeated, putting them 8 points clear above Unicorns at the top of the table.

Phantoms were off to a good start with Captain Hayley Waldridge beginning as GA and Alicia Lugg as GS. The first quarter finished 11-2. With fantastic passing from Debbie Reed as C and Anne Handley as WD Phantoms expanded the lead and finished the second quarter 24-5.

With a change in position for player of the match Katie Ulett from WA to GA and Hayley from GA to C, bringing on Rebecca Waters as WA, Phantoms completed the third quarter 39-9.

With thanks to the brilliant, consistent defending from Felicity O’Leary, Tracey Horner, GK, and Rachael Dodds, GD. Phantoms completed the match 59-13.

They have a break next week and are feeling fit and ready for round 2.
